Door-to-door fundraiser, Mid-Ulster

You will knock doors in towns and villages around Cookstown, Dungannon and Omagh, explain the work of the charity we are fundraising for, and ask people to set up a regular monthly gift. You travel to a different area each day with a small team, and you are outdoors for most of the shift.

The rate is £90 for each day you work. There is no basic salary and no commission. You are self-employed, so you invoice us for the days you have worked and handle your own tax.

There are daily sign-up targets. We train you for the first three days and a team leader works alongside you after that.

Shifts run from early afternoon into the evening, six days a week, because that is when people are at home. A driving licence helps but is not required: the team travels together from Cookstown.

• Comfortable knocking doors and talking to people you have never met
• Able to work outdoors in all weather, walking for most of the shift
• Available Monday to Saturday, afternoons and evenings
• Right to work in the UK
• Able to get to Cookstown to meet the team, or live within a reasonable drive of Cookstown, Dungannon or Omagh
